Tour Cavity Forged Irons

Designed for middle and lower handicap players the Golfsmith Tour Cavity Forged Iron heads provide a soft, solid forged iron feel with some increased forgiveness over traditional, compact forged irons. By going to a two-piece design and undercutting the back cavity, the center of gravity (CG) is moved back from face, giving performance previously not possible in a forged design. Repositioning the CG raises the Moment of Inertia (MOI) and increases stability.

The S45C carbon steel face and hosel are forged separately from the back cavity to allow for an undercut cavity design, making it the first forged undercut iron available to custom clubmakers.
